I haven’t written much in the last few months, not because I didn’t have anything to talk about, but my old blog design prevented it! A single post with photos took more time to create than the entire website took to design and build. The design was entirely experimental, and I believe that I could’ve made it usable if I was willing to spend the time developing it more, but in the end it just wasn’t worth it. Now it’s just another notch in the portfolio.

So now I’m now back to my old-standard 768px fixed-width, two-column, center aligned design that I’ve stuck with for as long as I’ve been designing websites. If anything, the simplified navigation system that this design (will) use should be a welcome relief to anyone who tried to move around on the old site.
